Strong but starting to rust

I haven’t had this lock for long but there is some oxidizing in the exposed parts of the lock mechanism. Having noted that, I have not had any problems with the locking mechanism itself, especially with a little WD-40. Great buy overall.

Don’t Buy this product.

I bought this product thinking it was a really good security cable for locking treestands in place. I was wrong, thieves made short work of this device. Then wrapped the small cable that is inside metal sheath around tree to show how small cable was at 1/16. The description does not indicate this in ad. Do not buy this cable. I wouldnt even give it 1 star.

rough and tough

When this lock arrived, i was in awe at how heavy duty it was but still fairly flexible. It wasn’t overly heavy. The locking mechenism seems very strong and I don’t think anyone could cut through this lock. I’m very happy with this purchase. It comes with 4 keys. If you’re prone to losing keys, make sure you have a spare somewhere because you can’t reorder keys. 4 keys is more than enough for me. The shipping did take a little longer than i had expected though, and it arrived after the estimated delivery date. Plus the tracking number was off and i couldn’t track it.
